About us

The aim of the Association of Farmers and Private Landowners of Ukraine is to facilitate the development of a massive farmer’s movement in Ukraine and to consolidate the efforts of its members as well as the progressive groups of the Ukrainian population in order to promote the creation and development of an alternative, competitive, high-value economic structure in the agricultural sector of the Ukrainian economy. It have to be based on private property of land, production assets, manufactured products and income. The protection of legitimate social, economic and other interests of its members.

Areas of activityі
1. Introduction of a proposal to the authorities concerning of land reform, participation in drafting of laws, by-laws, draft amendments and amendments to existing normative documents;
2. Promotion of agrarian reform in Ukraine;
3. Facilitating the creation of farms based on private land ownership, production assets and income, and free co-operation of commodity producers among themselves and with industry and commerce;
4. Facilitating the development of rural areas andabandoned villages restoration, the economic use of fertile lands, which are not used or used unsatisfactory.

Association’s operative schedule (the 2-nd half of 2017 year):
- working-out and agreement with state authorities the Concept of development for farms’ holdings (June - August 2017);
- holding the press conferences concerning the items of farmers' interests protection (June, August, October 2017);
- meeting of the Association’s Council (August 18, 2017, November 1, 2017);
- holding of district and regional conferences concerning of report- election procedures (September 10 - October 31, 2017);
- holding of Public hearings concerning the protection of farms against raider’s grabs (September 2017)
